Skepticon friends and attendees, we have an update about this weekend. So far, we’ve had one volunteer test positive for COVID. We appear to be in the early stages of another surge, so these may not be the only exposures.
The positive test happened today, so we don’t have a good grasp of when they may have been able to spread the disease. With the mask mandate we enforced in conference areas as well as the air filters installed in each room, we do hope there will be no more positives.
We encourage you to take precautions until you can be certain you did not pick up COVID at Skepticon. The CDC recommends the following protocols.
