If you’ve ever wished more activists or skeptics or people leaving religion knew something that you know, you have the base for a workshop. Never given one before? That’s okay. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we’re happy to show you how. There are fine reasons not to want to give a workshop, but don’t sell yourself short. Share what you know.
We would love to see proposals that tie in with this year’s art theme, but it’s not a requirement for having your proposal accepted.
This year, Skepticon will offer workshops Friday, Aug. 11th, 2023 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 13th from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. This year’s call for workshop proposals is now open. Secular Woman is organizing workshops for us again this year.
Unfortunately, Skepticon cannot provide travel or hotel costs for workshop presenters, but if you’re already planning to be there, it’s a great opportunity to contribute to the community.
