Josiah Mannion takes pictures of humans; this is his Humanism. He likes to try to make the unseen seen in photography. He has a B.A. from St. John’s College – Santa Fe, the Great Books Program, and never finished his Master’s in Religious Studies, ’cause he joined the Army instead, which was a bad decision, but they did teach him Korean, which was cool. He reads a lot, too.

Josiah is the moderator on Skepticon 9’s “Art & Activism” Panel: When we think of art and activism together, we usually think of art put to use in activism: protest signs and message t-shirts for example. In this panel, we’ll explore art that is activism in itself. To do that, we’ll talk about what art is and what activism is, covering a wide range of mediums, forms, and formats.
