After 24 years in the corporate world of wine and spirits import and wholesale, Jaimie felt the need as a Trans person and queer woman to advocate and speak out for Trans and LGBTQ+ issues. First with MTUG (Metro Trans Umbrella Group), in St. Louis, serving as Board President and Co-Executive Director, then founding Trans Education Service (TES) in 2016 as a Trans/LGBTQ cultural competency educational consultancy and DEI educator. She was able to apply her leadership, business, and communications skills in developing and facilitating trainings for healthcare, corporate, HR and Diversity/Equity/ Inclusion staff, and making the evidence based and value added case for LGBTQ inclusion and equality.
Jaimie is a member of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health), with WPATH GEI (Global Education Initiative) Foundations training, and also a professional member of AASECT, the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, a board member of Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, member board of directors of the St. Louis LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, lecturer with the Brown School, Sexuality Education specialization, Washington University in St. Louis, published author, and public speaker.
