Skepticon is held annually in the lovely Midwestern town of Springfield, MO.
Why Springfield, MO? Once upon a time, way back in undergraduate school at Missouri State University, Lauren Lane and JT Eberhard decided to invite a couple of speakers to their campus to speak about skepticism and awesomeness. That first year was so much fun that we decided to do it again and again! Now here we are, six glorious years later, still doing what we love–building a community, sharing all the knowledges, and having fun.
The event shall be held this year at the Springfield Expo Center, which is so large we could probably land a few planes in it.
