We usually don't sell out of hotel rooms until closer to the event, so I would try to have your accommodations done by October just in case! It sure does vary from year to year, though depending on how many people are coming or need a hotel room.

About 7 years ago I asked myself a question that went like this: What is the evidence that Jesus really lived? So I started asking people at church and I did google searches and I spent hours and hours in the library. Then when I started asking the pastor in my church she got nasty and mean and almost crazy acting. At first I felt bad and a little scared that my church and family and pastor was tripping. Then I realized all this was made up. But now after watching this video I know I was right way back then. And now I am going to study this information and find a way to explain it to my family or maybe not because I have my own life.

Greetings,
This is the president of Springfield Freethinkers. I was wanting to suggest a speaker for Skepticon 6. The speakers name is Seth Andrews and he is the host of the The Thinking Atheist radio talkshow and website. He recently released a book talking about his de-conversion from theist and christian radio host to atheist and producer of an atheist talk show. He is a great speaker and if you haven't heard of him I implore you to check him out. At the very least, maybe let him know about the oppurtunity to rent out a table to sell and sign copies of his book. He is currently doing a book and speaking tour and has shown interest on one of his shows about coming to Skepticon this year. Also, I would like to keep in contact with someone about possibly doing a complimentary event with the Springfield Freethinkers the same weekend as Skepticon. We are looking into having something like an "atheist gala", maybe at the convention center to help raise funds for the event and for local freethinking groups. This event would of course be later after speakers and would be something fun for atheists from out of town to have something to do. Well, hope to hear from you soon.
